The Online Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment course is designed for those working or wanting to work on construction sites and is a requirement for those wishing to apply for a CSCS Green Card. It can also be used as part of a company induction process or as a refresher course.
This course provides you with the knowledge and understanding about Health and Safety in the Construction environment and you will obtain a qualification in its own right. The course content includes an introduction to the legal aspects of health and safety before covering the basics of risk assessment and safe working practices. It then goes into detail to cover the most common hazards encountered in construction environments from Working at Height and Respiratory Hazards to electrical and chemical hazards.
This course is aimed at people starting out in the construction industry and wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card.
Online Invigilated Exam
The online invigilated examination is a live exam that can be taken anywhere via internet (via webcam on laptop or desktop at your Home or Workplace) at any time the candidate chooses. The examination system delivers the final assessment direct to the candidate via the internet and it will be invigilated using screen sharing and web cam. The online exam is fully accredited by ETA Awards
Instructions are emailed to the candidate to log into the invigilated online exam. Checks are completed to ensure the candidate did not cheat on the exam by using the internet, interacting with any other person or using any other external application, textbook, calculator or materials.

The course’s assessment method is multiple choice questions. You are able to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and you will have 3 chances per module. All modules must have a 70% score to achieve a pass.
