This course aims to develop knowledge and understanding regarding managing the risk of a slip, trip or fall incident occurring in the workplace. According to HSE statistics, trips and falls account for almost a third of non fatal injuries at work. It’s is important for you and your business to have enough information to take the practical measures: change working practices and attitudes to control and reduce this kind of injuries in the workplace.
This course will introduce you to some of the statistics relating to slips, trips and falls and dispel some of the myths surrounding them. It also touches on the law as it relates to slips, trips and falls. The course also covers some of the straightforward changes that can be made in most businesses to significantly reduce the risk of a slip, trip or fall incident occurring. The final module takes this to the next level and looks at it from a management perspective.
The course contains real examples of where things have gone wrong and some practical steps that could have been taken to prevent these incidents.
On successful completion of the course, you will obtain a certificate. Your certificate will be available for download as soon as you pass your course.

The course’s assessment method is multiple choice questions. You are able to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and you will have 3 chances per module. All modules must have a 70% score to achieve a pass.
